Green areas and gardens are increasingly more significant for the quality of life of families. They are peaceful, comfortable, and safe places and are spaces of great importance, both emotionally and socially, in this conditioned world.
At Belas Clube de Campo, the specialised teams take care of those green areas daily so that residents can get the most out of this haven, surrounded by nature, in the Forest Park of Serra da Carregueira. |

We are joyfully returning to normal. Even during this period, we kept on working and implementing a set of hygiene and safety measures to ensure the wellness and tranquillity of our residents. Our work was recognised by Turismo de Portugal that awarded us with the “Clean & Safe” seal, which distinguishes businesses in the Tourism sector that comply with the recommendations of the General-Directorate for Health to prevent the spreading of Covid-19. |

INTERVIEW WITH RESIDENT
3 QUESTIONS MADE TO JOSÉ COSTA |
|
First owner of plot at Lisbon Green Valley to start building his house. |
|
After living abroad for many years, why did you choose Belas Clube de Campos? |
|
We lived in Zurich for 8 years and returned to Portugal about a year ago to live in the centre of Lisbon. In Zurich we were basically living in city centre but were very close to several natural parks, close to nature. With small children, we wanted an equivalent environment that was close to the city, with accessible services, but with a significant part of nature. At Belas Clube de Campo, we feel like we are entering a different space that has everything we were looking for. |
|
What type of project are you developing? |
|
First of all, we wanted to change from an apartment to a house. Second, we were happy with the possibility of owning a plot in a resort that was inside a forest park, so close to Lisbon, and developing our own project.
Our experience of living in houses in Switzerland that had high construction standards (e.g. Minergie) made us look for a project that included a set of requirements that guaranteed the efficiency, comfort and sustainability of our house. We analysed multiple architecture offices that had projects made in Belas Clube de Campos, and we chose “Estúdio Urbano”. The construction stage has begun recently.
|
|
What mattered the most in this decision? |
|
The quality of life that we can have at Belas Clube de Campo was decisive. The feeling that we can experience the holiday spirit every day. Our work is flexible and we can work from home. Being able to enjoy all this space and surroundings is genuinely nice!
Also, services and infrastructures, such as the school, grocery store “Dona Cremilde”, tennis courts, and walking trails are an offer that is quite interesting and useful in our daily lives. |

HOME OFFICE:
A NEW REALITY THAT IS ALREADY IMPLEMENTED |
|
The new work model imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic required changes in house organisation to make spaces more versatile and prepared for this new reality that is here to stay. Adapting or creating working areas at home was a challenge for many, but Belas Clube de Campos had already incorporated this reality a while ago.
The new residential solutions offer a home office, which is very much appreciated by international clients who work remotely and became a current need of national clients.
These spaces are designed so that you can work peacefully. |

“My wife and I, both in our seventies, are living this isolation period peacefully. Every day, we are so pleased to have bought an apartment at Belas Clube de Campo about twenty years ago.
The green areas and complex surroundings are one of the aspects we value the most and that allow us to go for our daily walks using the many existing footpaths.
Available services and surveillance are also incredible useful, especially in times like these. This is a factor that contributes immensely to our peace of mind.”

Belas Clube de Campos is the only residential complex inside a Forest Park.
We are talking about the Forest Park of Serra da Carregueira, an area that occupies about 1000 ha, only a few minutes from Lisbon’s centre, the historical town of Sintra and Cascais beaches. |

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY CHILDREN |
|
With most schools closed, the activity levels of children, which are essential to their wellness and development, have dropped drastically.
To deal with this situation, Patrícia Reis, teacher at Active Life, started an activity to keep children active and develop their motor skills.
Destined for children between 3 and 5 years old, this initiative takes place in front of Clubinho, every Tuesday and Friday at 10 AM.

Spring is an extremely demanding season when it comes to gardens. Lawns need to be trimmed more frequently, bushes that are not blooming need to be pruned, new plants must be grown, and weeds grown exponentially, requiring the additional cleaning of flower beds and stone tree beds.
Mild temperatures and alternating sunny and rainy days enable this growth. Spring brings life to gardens, and plants stand out, grow and bloom. And all of this can be seen at our gardens. Let’s enjoy Spring!
