RECUPERAÇÃO DA ALAMEDA DA FLORESTA
Estão em curso os trabalhos para a recuperação da Alameda da Floresta que liga o Lisbon Green Valley à Alameda do Aqueduto. A atual estrada irá ser reabilitada e pavimentada e no final, antes da portaria, irá nascer um troço totalmente novo com cerca de 300 metros. A lateral irá dar lugar a uma ampla ciclovia e caminho pedonal. Todo o percurso será objeto de um arranjo paisagístico a cargo do conceituado urbanista, arquiteto paisagista e engenheiro agrónomo, Prof. Sidónio Costa Pardal.

recovery of alameda da floresta
A new school fully equipped to welcome new students. Work is under way for the refurbishment of Alameda da Floresta linking the Lisbon Green Valley to Alameda do Aqueduto. The current road will be rehabilitated and paved and in the end, before the security post, a totally new road section will be constructed with about 300 meters. The side will give way to a wide bike path and pedestrian path. The entire route will be the subject to a landscape solution by the renowned town planner, landscape architect and agronomist, Prof. Sidónio Costa Pardal.

GOLFE UMA EXCELENTE ATIVIDADE PARA OS JOVENS EM TEMPO DE FÉRIAS
A Academia de Golfe de Belas voltou uma vez mais, durante o mês de Julho, a implementar um plano de atividades específico para jovens, para aprenderem ou aperfeiçoarem técnicas de Golfe. Um plano de trabalho desenvolvido pelo profissional de Belas, o professor Marco Rios, adaptado a cada nível e idade, que junta partes lúdicas de jogo e treino de técnicas nas instalações da Academia, com o jogo de campo. Em média nas duas semanas participaram 25 crianças dos 6 aos 17 anos.

golf an excellent activity for young people on vacation time
During the month of July, the Belas Golf Academy once again implemented a specific activity plan for young people to learn or improve golf techniques. A work plan developed by Belas´ professional of golf, Professor Marco Rios, adapted to each level and age, combinining playful aspects of game with practice of techniques at the facilities of the Academy and field practice. On average, in two weeks 25 children from 6 to 17 years participated.

EXPRESSO BPI: CASA CHEIA NAS QUALIFICAÇÕES REGIONAIS EM BELAS
O Belas Clube de Campo recebeu pelo 22º ano consecutivo a maior prova do golfe português, com os cinco dias agendados a esgotarem. José Leite Braga que acaba de passar o testemunho na direção do Clube de golfe de Belas venceu a jornada inaugural. E o seu sucessor no cargo, José Carlos Sousa, foi segundo classificado. Ao todo foram 61 equipas (128 jogadores) que marcaram presença nos três primeiros dias das qualificações

The Belas Clube de Campo received for the 22nd consecutive year the greatest test of Portuguese golf, with the five days scheduled to be sold out. O GAVIÃO (ACCIPITER NISUS)
Esta pequena ave de rapina, muito parecida com o Açor, pode ser vista rondando a Serra de Sintra e arredores. Como prefere zonas densamente arborizadas, é igualmente visita habitual do Belas Clube de Campo. É facilmente identificável uma vez que tem uma cauda comprida e um voo enérgico. Mede ente 28 e 38 cm e alimenta-se sobretudo de pequenos pássaros.

This small bird of prey, as in the Azores, can be seen prowling around the Sintra Mountains and its surroundings. As it preferes densely forested areas, it is also usual for it to visit Belas Clube de Campo. It is easily identifiable since it has a long tail and an energetic flight. Measures between 28 and 38 cm and feeds mainly on small birds.
