Ricardo Carvalho has won the 21st edition of the Belas Golf Club Cup, in the Medal Net Eclectic category, with a score of 55 points. The tournament has been run every year since the club’s foundation, in 1998, and this year was graced by Nissan/Caetano Power and Nissan’s full range of 100% electric vehicles. Yet another milestone in Belas Clube de Campo’s journey to bringing its community of residents and golf members closer to sustainability practices.

GOLF AT belas clube de campo GROWS ABOVE THE NATIONAL AVERAGE
The Belas Clube de Campo Golf Course saw a 42% increase in the number of rounds played in the first quarter of 2019, when compared to the same period for 2018. This was well above the national increase of rounds played of only 3.2%. "This trend is expected to continue, especially at a time when Belas do Campo Golf has just joined the prestigious IMG Prestige network, which encompasses some of the best golf courses in the world.
The bet we have been making on differentiating our products and improving the courses playing conditions distinguish us both nationally and, in particular, in the Lisbon region, "says Paul Saunders, Director of Golf at Belas Clube do Campo.

SCIENCE4YOU AT BELAS CLUBE DE CAMPO
On the 16th March, Belas Clube de Campo hosted its first Science4You workshop. Many experiments were performed by the young had the opportunity to make their own “slime”. Did you know…
New pond aerators are being installed in the golf course lakes. The aerators work to maintain the ecological balance in lakes with depth of less than 5m, promoting the introduction of oxygen, thus creating a movement of water bubbles. Without circulation, a lake tends to develop algae causing a less pleasant aesthetic effect and sometimes undesirable smellsAfter the good results at the pond near hole # 17, we will now invest in the pond near hole # 18, to make the view even more stunning. This initiative will extend to the other lakes to continue to improve the experience of all.
